Michalis Vrachamis was born in Chios. He worked in the Banking industry from 1979 to 2013 and for more than 15 years was appointed in key Managerial positions as a Manager in the National Branch Network and Insurance & Investments products departments respectively.

From 2007 to 2013 served as a Regional Branch Manager of Marfin Egnatia Bank. From 2013 till 2017 worked as an Insurance Consultant for MetLife (member of ΝΝ group). From 2017 to present has benn a Managing Executive in tourism and specifically in short-term leasing.

He has extensive experience regarding investments, loans, management of Human Resources, crisis management and public relations. He taught Public Relations In the Experimental Vocational Training Institute of Athens (I.E.K.) and in a variety of in house banking seminars (investment and insurance products).

He is a graduate of the Economic Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a graduate in Business Administration from the Technological Educational Institution. He has also completed postgraduate studies and been awarded the “Professional Diploma Ιn Human Resources Management” from E.E.D.E (2008 – 2010). 

He has attended seminars on Banking Marketing, Public Relations, Training the trainer, Computers, P.P.S., Customer Service, Working in groups, Techniques of effective presentation, Methodology of financing in Banking Practice, Letters of guarantee, foreign currency, securities, Product management and Sales, competency interviewing skills etc.
